White Mountain Road
Description
White Mountain Road
Along the high alpine ridge of the White Mountains which border California and Navada are miles of desolate dirt roads running through barren windswept mountain slopes and patches of fairytail like forests home to the world's oldest living trees, the Ancient Bristlecone Pines. At an elevation of over 10,000 very few creatures inhabit these remote mountain landscapes and while moving through this otherworldly environment, in search of lesser known trees to photograph, I glimpsed the road far ahead and saw the shadows of an oncoming storm moving across this lonely landscape. At once I was overtaken with a sense of lonely yet beautiful isolation and drawn forward by the long windy road in front of me curious to see what I may find ahead.
